Our staff, governing board, and state chair leadership
- The National Association of Christian Lawmakers (NACL) vision was launched in 2018 and the entity was incorporated in 2019. State Senator Jason Rapert of Arkansas (2011-2023) is the founder and president of the organization. The charter meeting for the organization was held in August of 2020 in Florida. - The National Association of Christian Lawmakers (NACL) vision was launched in 2018 and the entity was incorporated in 2019. State Senator Jason Rapert of Arkansas (2011-2023) is the founder and president of the organization. The charter meeting for the organization was held in August of 2020 in Florida. Twenty three elected officials were installed as the charter state chairs during that meeting. The NACL now has 36 official legislative state chairs and members and supporters in all 50 states and Puerto Rico.
- According to historians, the NACL is the first formal national association of Christian lawmakers in the history of the United States and it is the only faith based para-legislative organization operating in the country today.
- THE MISSION OF THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CHRISTIAN LAWMAKERS IS TO BRING FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWMAKERS TOGETHER IN SUPPORT OF CLEAR BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES BY MEETING REGULARLY TO DISCUSS MAJOR ISSUES, PROPOSE MODEL STATUTES, ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS TO ADDRESS MAJOR POLICY CONCERNS FROM A BIBLICAL WORLD VIEW.
- We believe that America would be better off if more Christians would run for elected office at the local, state, and federal levels. The Bible says in Psalm 33:12 "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." We need to elect more godly leaders in our national at every level.
- Since NACL launched in August of 2020, we have hosted 7 national conferences and we now have 36 current or former state elected officials serving as chairs in their respective states. In addition to our 36 state chairs we now have members and supporters in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. We have 7 working committees and have passed 36 model laws for referral and introduction in legislative bodies around the country. We have a strong group of men and women serving on our national board of advisors and our NACL elected official members are some of the strongest Christian conservatives in the nation today.
- The NACL is committed to abolishing abortion in our nation, restoring marriage between one man and one woman, standing up for religious liberty in every venue, promoting universal school choice and championing the right to introduce our young people to the importance of God in their lives - we are doing everything we can to restore the Judeo-Christian foundation of our nation.
- We invite Christians everywhere in our nation to unite and stand together for the cause of God and Country. You can become a member of the NACL today as either an elected official member, former elected official member or armor bearer supporting member.
