Attorney General John Ashcroft
The Honorable John Ashcroft was elected to serve as State Auditor, Governor, and U.S. Senator for the State of Missouri. He was appointed by George W. Bush to serve as U.S. Attorney General.

Fellowship Vision
- The Brownback-Ashcroft Fellowship, a twelve-month fellowship program designed to strengthen public servants spiritually, personally, and professionally so they may endure the pressures of public service and fulfill their calling faithfully over the long term.
- The Fellowship is founded on the belief that exceptional leadership is rooted in spiritual maturity. Public officials who maintain an abiding relationship with Jesus Christ are better equipped to withstand criticism, opposition, temptation, and adversity without compromising their convictions, effectiveness, families, or faith.
- The Fellowship will combine spiritual formation, mentorship, constitutional statesmanship, leadership development, family support, and relationship-building into a comprehensive program designed to help participants become leaders who will not be broken.
